As your SCDA 2015 Convention Chair, I would encourage you to attend the 146th Annual Session of the SCDA. The theme this year is, “Branching Into… The New Age of Dentistry,” and I believe the all new Continuing Education and Convention Experience will help each dentist and team member take that new enriched knowledge to better serve the public of South Carolina. Dr. Gloria Pipkin and your SCDA 2015 Convention Committee hope that this year’s location in beautiful historic downtown Charleston, SC will inspire you to come and not only enjoy Charleston with your colleagues, family, and friends, but also rekindle your Continuing Education Experience.
The 2015 Convention Committee has restructured the SCDA Annual Session with an exceptional 5 Star Continuing Education, Commercial, and Social Experience. I encourage you to look at the overall Convention Program, this will be a one-of-a-kind first for SCDA having one main speaker each day. We will start out on Thursday with Mr. Frank Abagnale, you may never have another chance to hear him speak! Plus, there will be great educational programs for each team member and front desk personnel. The Exhibit Hall will not only be the place to catch up on the latest and greatest technical products, but also it will be the designated “Break Area” to get refreshments and snacks. Plan to use the 30 minute breaks to grab a drink or a snack and spend quality time with our valued Exhibitors on Thursday and Friday. This year’s Premier Social Event, should I say anymore other than the band Deja Nue with Dr. Carter Brown and it will be at a Yacht Club, you are going to have to call the SCDA office about this hot ticket.
Mark these dates down now April 30 – May 3, 2015 and make sure you are registered to come to Charleston, SC. Come experience the wonderful city of Charleston, its history and cuisine are second to none in South Carolina!
