It is indeed a pleasure to invite you to attend the 144th Annual Session of the South Carolina Dental Association. This year's theme is "Vision for the Future; Embrace, Engage, Empower", and it is our hope that dentistry can reach out in a meaningful way to support improved oral health in South Carolina.
This year's convention committee has assembled a "Who's Who" list of speakers that will challenge, uplift and empower your dental experience. The educational sessions have been designed to realistically provide skills for doctors and staff to apply to real world dentistry. We encourage interested attendees to review the curriculum and make plans to benefit from the Annual Session educational experience.
The social and commercial venues will give you an opportunity to reconnect and visit with friends and colleagues. The Exhibit Hall will be open for shopping and for technical interaction with many of our professional companies. The popular Welcome Reception in the exhibitor's floor will again be held on Thursday.
This year's prime social event will be a craft beer tasting extravaganza! Our "Brews at the Blues" will be held at the Myrtle Beach landmark "The House of Blues". A few years ago SCDA hosted its most successful party at the HOB, and we intend to embrace that same excitement on Saturday of convention week.
So now is the time to engage the smarter, stronger, inquisitive you to make plans to attend our SCDA Session on May 2- 5, 2013. Visit and enjoy the company of friends, family, colleagues, associates, assistants, hygienists, exhibitors, sales reps, lab techs, educators, and dental students! It will be a "Grand Strand" Time.
